Katie Zilka, CEM, LEED AP
Director of Sustainability Practice
As Director of the Sustainability Practice, Katie oversees a team of passionate professionals that identify and develop sustainable strategies to deliver value and innovation to CodeGreen’s clients. Katie brings 10 years of experience working in the sustainable built environment; that experience encompasses energy efficiency auditing, targeted outreach, and program design and implementation services. Her ability to manage technical teams has enabled her to design and develop a curriculum to train auditors, to successfully design and manage auditing programs and projects for Northeastern utilities and authorities, and to oversee the turnkey implementation of energy conservation measures. Katie holds an MA in Sustainable Interior Environments from SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelors in Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also maintains a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from Association of Energy Engineers and a LEED AP with the US Green Building Council.
